Mayor trying to hijack smacking referendum

Mr Williams said the anti-smacking referendum was a golden opportunity to seek public endorsement of the Super City. "It can't be too difficult or expensive to print off another ballot paper to drop into the same envelopes being sent out to Auckland voters."

Get over yourself. The smacking referendum is not for local government dictators to hijack. The precedent on such matters has already been set by your ex-Dear Leader.

And I would wager $19000 to spend on a useless survey to counter the Super City was not in Rodney District Council's LTCCP. Stop wasting ratepayers taxes.

The sooner these troughers are excised from mine and your rates the better.
